Gone Fishin’

Did you know the Marina Trench, located east of the Mariana Islands in the western Pacific Ocean,  is the deepest known area of Earth’s oceans? It has a deepest point of around 11000 meters (36000 feet)!

Campers went fishing today and worked on their ocean trivia! Do you know the names of all five oceans?

 

Under the Sea!

Campers this week will make a SPLASH! learning about the oceans and sea creatures. This morning, first and second graders discovered the amazing plant and animal life in the five oceans: Atlantic, Pacific, Indian, South, and Arctic.
